Our cold drawn steel bars special cross-sections, manufactured according to Customer’s drawing in pre-established minimum quantities, offer the following advantages as compared to the application of standard cross-section:
- Reduction of resources during the job. Therefore saving of labour cost, machine-hours or any investment in special machinery for manufacturing
- Reduction of waste during manufacturing. Therefore saving of purchased material for the job
- Possibility of increasing the productivity of components and easier interchangeability of items
Low and high carbon steel, case-hardening steel; the range of materials which can be used depends solely on the limits imposed by the deformation properties of the actual steel. Special profiles are supplied in accordance with the standard requested by the customer : UNI DIN AISI SAE.
Special profiles can be produced with dimensional tolerances of ± 0.10 mm , but they can be reach a high level of accuracy, such as ISO h9 and, when requested by the customer, accuracies up to ± 0.02 mm. Special profiles can be supplied in bars of different lengths; even on such length and with a reduced section, a very high degree of straightening is guaranteed.
In many cases the above characteristics make a special profiles the only possible solution.
